I waited until 4am. It finally cooled down to a nice 88 degrees. I can't believe it only cooled to 88!

My wife has called a few places and they are all booked up because of this heat wave. One was booked till the 3rd, the other until Friday. I may have to get some friends to pull some favors.

I talked to my parents who I bought the house from and they've had the freon replaced twice, that was around 4 years ago, and 7 years ago. I don't want to do that again because of both the cost and the impact on the environment. I may just buy a new unit. I also found out it's 25 years old. They are under the house so I hadn't ever really looked at them and one of them was a making noises when the heater was on.

For the cost of an AC unit it may actually be cheaper to move to CO, lol.
