No text in description box. Can't save my work

Two new problems: 1. There's no text in the description box, it's totally blank. 2. When I try to save my work to try to salvage some of what I've been working on, I get the message: are you sure you want to leave this page? Please tell us what the problem is and when it will be resolved.
