Search feature is not woking correctly

The search feature for closed listings is not working.

Search for 30 days / 60 days and get ALL listings going back for years.

Do a search for "fixed price" items and it brings ups "auctions" too.

Search for specific items and it brings up unrelated items.

*This is causing duplicate items to be listed ....an eBay violation
*It is causing auctions to be listed when searching and listing "fixed price" items only.
*It is also causing unrelated, unwanted items to be listed when they should not have been even been brought up in the searches.
