The first named storm of the season is here. T.D. 1 is now Tropical Storm Alberto.

The storm is forecast to make landfall on the Florida peninsula Tuesday morning with 50 mph winds. The Tampa Bay region remains in the cone of uncertainty.

As the tropical storm approaches, heavy rain is creeping towards us from the south.

A Flood Watch is up for all of us from 4pm today through Tuesday morning. 4 to 8 inches of rain is possible with the approaching tropical storm.
