36 hours later finally have a reply to my support case - they just realized something is wrong! PLEASE let me know - does anyone else rely on their APP? I now have no use for just the website, it is only useful to me if I can do the whole thing on my iPad. The APP truly sucks - Google the reviews and it is 80% negative reviews with no updates for 2 years!

I actually don't recall seeing this behavior before, but I was able to locate a listing using the UPC code you mentioned that exhibits the behavior you described when viewed through the iPhone or iPad. On the other hand, I did not see this behavior when viewing the same listing through my Android based phone. I am actually not aware of any technical issues that would prevent perspective buyers who are using the eBay mobile app from viewing your listings which use Auctiva templates with embedded images, so I do not expect you to encounter any such difficulties when using these features. However, one thing to keep in mind about the eBay mobile app is that your item description (which includes the template and any embedded images) is not displayed...

Hello Vikas, We are not aware of difficulties with the mobile app or the installation of the app and the app does appear to be operating normally on Android devices, so it is unclear what may be occurring for you. As a first step, please try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it, but if the difficulty persists, please file a support case from under the Help tab of our site letting us know the details of what you are experiencing and we'll be happy to look into it for you. - Craig

Hi @JessieJ , Yes, the Auctiva Image app is available for both iOS and Android! You can download it for free from the App Store here . This app gives you the ability to upload images straight from your mobile device directly into your Auctiva account. Plus, there are a few image editing tools as well. I'm also having problems too when I click on a different tab it takes me back to the sine in screen even though I have remember me checked. I also cleared my cookies to see if it would take care of the first code line that keeps dissappearing whenever I flip from design view to HTML. That did not fix the problem. I don't buy the cookie conspiracy theory. This is the only web app I use that keeps insisting it's my cookies. Too many reports of similar oddities from others.

Clearing cache and cookies have solved many problems; it is the first step in troubleshooting. If the problem is not solved you move on, but, it is a necessary first step.

Should I use the Mr. Lister application on Auctiva to do this or just use the Auctiva Store app? Also, how do I get someone to do an evening class on the app? Just wait and grab one if it ever shows up? Thanks for your reply.

OK. That's not an Auctiva application. Usually the snipe programs will only bid on items you have setup in the program to watch. In other words you would have to go into the Auction Sniper app and add the items to bid on to the list. You would also set a bid limit. The program won't just arbitrarily bid on something and it doesn't use your watched items in ebay to place bids. Just make sure you don't have them listing in the Auction Sniper program and you shouldn't have to worry.

I've been using yahoo mail almost exclusively for 3 or 4 years now, and it the last 6 months it gotten slower and slower. Apparently yahoo is not putting money into their servers. Also yahoo parternered with SBC for their internet service. And SBC was merged/bought out by ATT. SBC was only marginal, but ATT reputation as a political and mixed up company proceeded itself and was borne out when they alienated many customers including myself. I personally wish they would lay off the new features and get the current product stable. That has always been a sore spot with me. I've been in the software developement field for a decade & know first hand, the more you dink with it, the worse it will keep getting. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to take a 6 month sabatical from enhancements, just work on the product integrity, getting all the bugs fixed & the app stablized, test & regression test the heck out of it. Kolstrom: Good point. You are right that a bidder can still watch the replays and enjoy the action even if they don't bid through BattleBids. In that case we choose a random action from the list of 6 choices and play that for them. However we're hoping buyers will want to choose a specific action and taunt as they become more familiar. Hello XFIRE, Depending on the template and layout you selected for your listings when you posted, you may need to left/right scroll to see the images on your listings when viewing them on mobile after you have clicked in to see the full listing. We are not aware of any issues at this time that would prevent images in the listings from showing correctly on mobile devices when the same images show properly when viewed on a full system, so if the issue persists for you please file a support...

Hi Afrizona, I am not aware of any current technical issues that would explain why your are not seeing thumbnails for your listings that use externally hosted images when you look them up through mobile devices, so we would need to look into this further to reach a conclusion. However, I just looked up one of your listings that is using externally hosted images as the Gallery images through both the eBay app and website on my iPad and I was able to see a thumbnail sized image on the search...

He says we have had a *really* good response....so much so that he is still in process of answering all the emails we received. By all means give it a try! Don't they have a free trial? Nevermind the fact that it has supposedly been nothing but trouble for those who tried it (not to mention the extra cost just to use it.) And the terapeak info...it's like 3 weeks of data that you can already get for free with the terapeak app on ebay. Just go to the pond forums and see what is being said. How about an app for blackberry. Please tell me it's in the works. Been trying to use auctiva with opera mini5 browser and it's a bust every time. If you have other suggestions on a browser I can use to upload pics and build listings with BB storm please pass them along. Glad to see some sort of phone app for auctiva but I cant get Iphone service in Montana Larry @ curbtrader3

Sorry to disappoint here, but at the moment there are no plans for a Blackberry app. Regarding the iPhone app, beta testing is complete. We are currently in process with Apple to get our iPhone app up and available on their iTunes Apps store, and it should be available with in the next few weeks. (It will be free.) Hi JeanieB, Thanks for contributing to our forum. As Ed suggested, any header and gallery images that are specified for listings you post through Auctiva are submitted to eBay's picture hosting service so you should not have to do anything differently to meet the "at least one eBay hosted picture" requirement that is mentioned in that announcement. Hi Community, Thanks for your additional comments. As it stands now, the images present in the Auctiva Image Selection section do *not* automatically appear in the “Optional eBay Gallery Images” section when you enable that option, so adding this option to listings does require re-selecting the desired images as well as checking the box. Hello Thanks for contributing to our forum. We do offer a mobile app called "Auctiva" through the App Store that is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, but it can currently only be used to create listings for the eBay.com (US) website. We may expand the mobile app to support posting to other eBay sites in the future though. Hi lookandbuyme, Once you have launched the mobile app, just click the "Settings" tab along the bottom of the page and, assuming you are not already logged in, you should see an interface labeled "Auctiva.com Login" which prompts you to enter the username and password associated with your Auctiva.com account. From there, just enter your credentials in the provided fields and click the green "Login" button and you should be logged into the app. At that point, you should see "Hi, lookandbuyme"...

Hi lookandbuyme, No, you are not missing anything. I just reviewed the category selection interface within the Auctiva mobile app and confirmed that the category options are not alphabetized like they are on the regular Auctiva.com website. I have made note of this and we will look into the possibility of alphabetizing those options within the mobile app for a future update. Specifically, it is still not possible to add Auctiva template and variations to listings through the app and categories may not be alphabetized like on our standard website. 6 months since the last update, still no plans for this app? I switched from iPhone to Android and now have no way to upload my pics easily for my auctions. This is a must for me, so if there isn't any plans for an android app yet, I may have to switch providers for my auction images and listings. Please give me some good news!

Without a data cable, I have to take photos, email them to myself, download them to my computer, then upload to Auctiva. This is a very lengthy process I could do without. I'm certainly not getting an iPhone. For some auctions, it's just easier to upload directly to the eBay Android app and skip Auctiva all together. I'm going back to work full-time till November when I'll be reactivating my Auctiva account to sell for the winter. I really hope there will be an Android app.

So it is almost a year later, any word on if an Android app is in development? Obviously the Android platform is only gaining more traction with each new year and I, along with thousands of others, would love to see a compatible Auctiva app. Please give us some good news.

Must stay up to date with technology. If Auctiva doesn't, we as users cannot either. I too could use a app, as I'm now using my Galaxy for all of my pictures. Just a matter of time before Auctiva becomes useless for me without a way to quickly upload from my android. I would think this is a no brainer for moving forward....JMHO

Hello again, We have determined that there is an issue with the recent version of Chrome and eBay's display. At this time this issue can occur for users using Chrome on eBay, however other browsers and mobile devices (including using the Chrome mobile app) do not seem to be encountering this difficulty. Our engineers have opened a ticket with eBay regarding this issue to try to resolve the difficulty on eBay pages. I will update this thread as soon as there is more information available...
