On the heading of the showcase it says bettybakebake instead of my store name: Betty's Vintage Store. Did I click the wrong thing somewhere when setting up? Or perhaps the store name is not the default name when you have one?
It would be nice if you had a link to the FAQ's on the message boards instead of me having to hunt for it. Just a suggestion.

Well that is easy for you to say, lol. "go to the store link" you mean on ebay? here somewhere? sorry I don't get it right off the bat.
Since you are so helpful...can you point me in the correct direction for adding HTML to my descriptions-the code is appearing and the links but not what I am telling it to do.
And if I click that HTML button on the bottom of the description will it then read my code, but then will all my hard work on this listing disappear again? I did that once already by accident.
But I can see where this is a fantastic program. So FAST! I love it. I have a few suggestions of course.
Really I am just foolin with the program right now. Just listing a few things. I know it "holds" my paragraphs just fine, unlike SAPro but I wanted to see what would happen.

I would dearly love to use my store logo in my listings. I really need to go through the templates here and find ones that match up with my logo then figure out how to make it flow together. I have three different color schemes with my logos and want to use templates that work with what I have already.

I like being able to crop my pics and put them inside my listings to highlight what I am saying, I was just learning how to do that with SAPro and photobucket.

I have been unable to use my photobucket pics here, I have tried all three different links they offer: Tag; image; HTML, none work in the auctiva auction. But anyway that is what I am fooling with trying to learn Auctiva.

Since I sat down and reviewed all of Auctiva's templates last week I made notes on some that would work, but they are missing today, like mosiac and you had two photography templates only one is there today.
as far as the images, you would need to add < img src="URL of your pic here" > and remove the space between the < and the i and between the " and > if you are using hosting somewhere other than Auctiva. If you are in the custom template, you can actually place the [image] tag whereever you want it to be in your template and it will automatically insert it for you.
<img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y149/bettybakebake/store/logob.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com">

so this is the one to use? They call this "tag" in photobucket. I would take out the alt=image hosted... I guess.

I can load one of theoriginals to auctiva, of my templates, so how do I get the tag description in auctiva? I am a copy and paste kind of coder, lol.

Yes that is the correct code - the tag one. You actually do not have to remove anything from that link. The alt is just for when your mouse is over the picture, it will display the little pop-up that says it is hosted with Photobucket. You could actually change the text if you wanted.

It sounds like you are going to the description and putting the code in before switching to the HTML editor. Try going to the description area, clicking on the HTML link first then copy/paste your code in. Just the description though, any of your shipping/payment details should be saved seperately.

I changed the tag for the pic for you:

Here is a great tutorial that Magie made up:

Custom Template Tutorial

You can check this one out too, go to the links at the bottom - Template I revised

This should get you started in the right direction - I will check back in tomorrow if you have any Q's. Ok well it is 2am here (just looked at the clock) so later today would be more appropriate. Smile
