Would it not be possible for auctiva to have a 'clock' on their web pages - because of time differentials of many hours it is difficult to keep track of downtimes etc - but if there was a clock showing the 'auctiva' time we would have a better grasp of the time difference ( especially relevant to UK where there is a big difference)

Might also help if the downtime was not biased towards one particular area....downtimes always seem to be at a time when buisness is starting up in the u.k. which is infuriating as I prepare an item and then cant list it at 9.30 or 10 in the morning and end up paying ebay extra for everything which after joining auctivas new subscription service I was hoping to avoid ....strange tho when it was free we hardly had downtimes that interfered with listing here Smile

We have traffic graphs. We do our updates at the very slowest traffic time. As most of our customers are in the US this means 11pm our time is usually slowest. The problem being that is 7am in the UK. We're doing it at time times that impact the fewest customers. We are working to reduce the weekly maintenance window to be shorter which will be completed this year and should make our weekly maintenance less noticable for all users.
