My last six listings come with this alert:

API Warning

The Legacy XML format used in this request is being phased out. All applications should migrate to the Unified Schema to avoid loss of service. For more information please see http://developer.ebay.com/migration/.

Can someone comment on what this means to the users of Auctiva? Will this be taken care of seemlessly or will this require action on my part. I'd like to be prepared if so. I am in no way an IT specialist but I'm not completely devoid of understanding how to make things work for myself. I went to the site mentioned and to the best of my knowledge this is something that has to be done by IT Specialists. You'll let me know if I am wrong. I thought this would be the most accurate place to post this questions. Again, you'll let me know if I am wrong. Thank you. Tracy Jo

I got it twice myself:

BUT.........I believe it has something to do with the templete we choose? Did not get it for all the templetes.

Hope your all correct about not worring cuz what that EBay site says about it may as well be in Latin, I did not understand it at all!

Have a good day!

I am getting the same warning but I am also finding that my listings seem to go through alright. I did try to read the information and it makes no sense to me.
I use a template that was designed for me so I hope it is not going to be a problem down the road.
I tried the new syi form on ebay for the heck of it and it was horrible. It is SOOOOO much easier to list through this site.
So Just to make sure I am understanding this... I have gotten the API Warning on ALL Of my listings. I am not worried about the auction listings but what about the store listings? Do I have to Relist them all after this change that is supposed to happen in July? Most of my listings are good till canceled.
I guess I'm A little dim but Latin is right that site ebay gave us was over my head!

We are very very close to being complete with the migration. In fact, last time I spoke with my contact at eBay related to this, she congratulated us on our transition (saying, we were the farthest along of any third party at the time).
