Auctions on CL is against there rules. If you look in the FAQ section they say it specifically. And also I tried it with Craigbid. All of my listings got flagged and removed. So this guy that Auctioned his Computer was just lucky and got away with it.

Auctions on craigslist are not against the rules, but they are discouraged. I have auctioned several of my items using craigbid and my items were not flagged or removed. The craigslist community will decide if the items you're auctioning are legitimate- if they are not, they will flag you.

Maybe you did something else that caused your items to be flagged and removed?
