Yep, was down for me too.

My question to Auctiva, as has been after many outages.

Auctiva. HOW do we know that you KNOW there is a problem??

We can't get in to file requests and at times can't get on forums, etc., to let you know? (although I have not noticed forums being monitored normally on weekends/holidays or after hours) so obviously posting on forums after hours does not work anyway other than knowing others share your problem.

As I have previously mentioned, all sites go down auctiva is no exception. Lately, though this has been several times in as many weeks. During this time no one knows how to contact auctiva.

This has been a question many times by myself and at one time other members.

Others may not even care, but for me just "KNOWING" that you are aware there is a problem and working on it sure helps.

Just my thought...there needs to be a way for us to KNOW about issues such as outages.

***** If others agree that there needs to be a method for us to know this, I suggest you write something or this will be an issue every time there is an outage as it has been in the past. IF I am only one interested in knowing that they know...then there will NEVER be notification to us or announcement that they are aware. *****

There was no Auctiva communication here or on Facebook....but that is fairly common. We have asked and pleaded with them for as long as I can remember to post announcements on the boards (not after the fact either) and to honestly communicate. This just falls on deaf ears.

Saying "sorry for the inconvenience" a day or 2 or 3 days after the fact does very little and just doesn't mean much anymore and is not how these issues should be handled.

As far as this issue, according to a post in one of the threads, I think the last time the site was down about a week ago, they apparently think that we can contact them even though we have told them it is not possible. That was never addressed....and here we are again.
