Conflict between your item variations and custom item specifics

I tried to post some men's briefs (Size: M, L, XL; Colors: Black, Black and White, Gray and Black) by using Variations. It creates total 9 Variations (M-Black, M-Black and White, M-Gray and Black, L-Black, l-Black and White, L-Gray and Black, XL-Black, Xl-Black and White, XL-Gray and Black), and difference item has unique SKU#. However, after I post the ad, there's a message show that "eBay listing failed to post for the following reason:
•There is a conflict between your item variations and custom item specifics. The following custom item specifics cannot be used when an item variation of the same type is in use. Please remove these custom item specifics and try again. [ Bottoms Size (Men's),Color ]"

Did I do something wrong? Please help, Thanks.

remove size and color from custom item specifics (you have already put it in variations)
