So, I'm trying to streamline my auction posting process, and thus I'm trying your CSV upload engine for the first time.

First, I downloaded your sample Excel file, and added more rows to that template. Next I saved it as a CSV file, and uploaded it.

Auctiva then asks me to map my columns, to listing fields. Why? I'm using the same column headers that are in your sample file, so it should know how to map each of those.

One of the headers in YOUR sample file is "format". I'm trying to pick the correct field to map that column to, but you don't have a field in the list called "format". Why? You guys call it "format" in your CSV sample, so why not the same if your field list?

Next, is Category.
Seriously? You don't have "category" in your field list for column mapping? What am I missing here?

Title, Quantity, StartPrice...all map just fine. But, what's up with those others?

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you are experiencing.

The column headers that are used in our "sample file" are actually the same column headers used by Turbo Lister so, if you are using only those columns (and potentially others used by Turbo Lister), you should be able to avoid mapping your columns manually by selecting the “Turbo Lister” option from step 2 on the Upload from File page.

Provided you are looking to incorporating as much information as possible into the listings in your CSV file prior to uploading them, you may want to create a sample listing through eBay's Turbo Lister (http://pages.ebay.com/sellerin...ces/turbolister.html) that has all the information you would like to include and use that as a template.

By using only column headers and values that are accepted by Turbo Lister, you should be able to select the “Turbo Lister” option when uploading your files into Auctiva and our system should be able to handle all the mapping automatically.

You should only need to select the “Other” option and map the columns on your CSV file to the appropriate fields on the lister page manually if you are using column headers which are not used by Turbo Lister and therefore not recognized by our system.

If you are using the “Other” option to map your columns manually, you would need to select “Listing Format” from the drop down menu for your “Format” column and “Primary Category” from the drop down menu for your “Category” column in order to map them correctly.

Once you have gone through the process of mapping your columns manually using the “Other” option, you will be presented with the option to save your mappings so you can upload other files with the same columns later without having to redo all of your mappings.

the entire way the system is setup is moronic.something as simple as commenting on a forum to a company you are already a member to involves setting up another account. the things that are done such as using turbo lister as an excel format to use but it actually doesn't work fully because changes need to be made is the stupidest thing ever. If I signed up for auctiva and not turbo lister I want the auctiva format not TURBO LISTER.I am having the same frustrations and your "CUSTOMER SUPPORT" OR LACK OF officially sucks in every way possible. How could you guys not be begging to have frustrations when you are limited in the results from csv uploads but then you can only individually modify certain things about a listing. I have listings that say "0" errors when error check is done but then when I try to post it tells me there are errors and unable to post and to contact customer support if it continues and I have done that and all they do is read back what I already told them. At the end of the day all the problems come from the tasks that the "bulk edit" button lacks and the format of the csv upload as well as mainly The HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
