Hi,

The classic Auctiva eBay Store gallery has only limited change capability beyond template selection. You can add a banner and some text to one of the stock templates, but that's the limit of changes.

Oh....and as I've suggested before in the Forum, Auctiva might keep the lid on that to maintain their 3rd Party accredidation for direct linkage to the gallery page. That way, eBay doesn't have to do page checks for policy violations. Even if that's not true, it makes good sense.

Perhaps I've gotten the nomenclature confused. I was referring to the Main portion of my Auctiva store, where I would see the blog, info about the store, the sidebar with my categories, navigational / bookmark buttons and the like.

I use a custom template for my eBay listings, and my store should be able to match the template I use as closely as possible for aesthetic / professional purposes.

I am NOT referring to the gallery that appears on my eBay listings that Auctiva provides... I'll deal with that as I must.

Currently, there's so little style selection for Store templates that I'm sorely tempted to just hand-code my own store system. No offense untended, it's just the truth.
Hi,

I wasn't referring to the Gallery window. I did mean the old traditional Auctiva Store (which is really just a simple Gallery for eBay listed items). Other than template choice and the minor tweaks available (nothing hidden), there is no real change/customization.

You might want to review the eBay Policy on off-site linkage before you proceed with your own Store coding.

Then it's seriously time to have some ATTRACTIVE templates available.

I'm sure I'm not the only user who's decried the paltriness of selection.

I've gone over the eBay policies regarding links. Different graphics/colors/fonts/etc., can't be construed as violating the policies (unless the graphics of of an offending nature, but I'm talking about decorative graphics).

Nonetheless, it is what it is, and, as such, I'll consider taking my business someplace that has the latitude necessary to presenting a professional appearance on eBay and off.
