Great Informative article. All your suggestions are great. Its too bad that some of the ways to keep safe from fraud on ebay, take the fun out of selling. I don't want to run my blood pressure up just tring to make som e extra cash, or buy a x-mas gift.

However, it is not possible for a buyer to cancel a bid on eBay without the seller's agreeance.
If a seller suspects fraud, he/she should not cancel the bid on request but let it stand and then later (after auction end) decide how to react (mutual cancellation, etc).
Also, USA, Canada and UK aside, adresses are always "unconfirmed". That should not deter a seller from shipping to that buyer.
