Hi dander22,
Thanks for contributing to our forum. Deleting images from your Auctiva account which are currently being used in active listings would cause the images to no longer show up in the descriptions of your listings so I do not recommend deleting images from your account which are currently in use.
However, when an image is marked as deleted from your Image Management page, it will not be permanently removed from our system for at least 14 days. Therefore, if you delete an image in error, you should be able to restore from your Deleted Images page any time within that window.
If you visit the Image Management page within your Auctiva account by mousing over the “Images” tab and selecting the “Manage” option, you should see a “Listings” column which contains 3 numbers for each image, which refer to the number of Details Profiles, saved listings, and active and scheduled listings the image is used in respectively.
Provided that any relisting of listings which contain Auctiva hosted images has been done through your Auctiva account, those images should be accurate and you should be able to use them to help identify which images you can delete without impacting your listings.
You will also find a tool called the Image Deletion Wizard on your Image Management page which can be used to identify the images within your account which are not in use anywhere (all zeroes in the “Listings” column) and delete them from your account in bulk with just a few clicks.
If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the “Help” tab within your account and selecting the “File Support Case” option.
