Good Evening Mike,
As I was trying to list an item tonight (and also other listings on other occasions) I have noticed that I'm unable to find the same Categories as eBay offers us. My item that I was listing actually matches eBays Categories better than Auctiva's but since I couldn't list it thru Auctiva that way, I had to us what you offered up to us. Can you explain to me how I can get eBay's exact categories on Auctiva? Am I doing something wrong? I tried several other ways to find the exact wording that eBay uses on your Auctiva site to no avail.
As an example:

Ebay’s Categories :

Pottery, Porcelain & Glass>
Pottery>
Blue & White Transfer Ware>
Other Blue & White

Auctiva’s Categories:

Pottery & Glass>
Pottery & China>
China & Dinnerware>
Blue Willow

Hi MarleneM,

Thanks for posting your question here. Our system should generally reflect the same category structure that is available on the eBay Sell your Item form but there can be discrepancies at times because eBay updates their category structure regularly and we then have to update ours accordingly.

However, I reviewed the eBay.com (US) Sell your Item form and I was unable to see the discrepancy you mentioned here. The category path on eBay came up as Pottery & Glass > Pottery & China > China & Dinnerware > Blue Willow (category # 2753), just like on the Auctiva lister page.

I'm not quite sure what you may be doing differently that is causing you to see a different category path on eBay, but the one that we have in our system appears to be correct as far as I can tell.

If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the “Help” tab on our site and selecting the “File Support Case” option.

-Mike
