"eBay's Downslide Continues in Q1"

Perhaps the decline is not from the economy as stated by ebay. Give thought to the fact that in a "recession" auctions, yard sales and flea markets tend to thrive, not decline. Just maybe all the "policy changes" and monopolistic socialist redirect has driven enough sellers away (myself included) that they have ruled themselves into a happy happy joy joy tailspin.

I agree with the previous comment. I think the new policies are one-sided; and not fair to sellers. The fees keep going up; so that if you don't have at least a $10.00 profit on an item, it isn't worth selling. Their policies need a major overhaul. I'm a seller and getting very discouraged; and I've sold on ebay for over 7 years. I have tried other sites and will continue to try them in hopes that they will take off and give ebay a run for their money.

I totally agree with both comments. Elimination of negative feedback for sellers is a nightmare. It is totally unfair especially when negs come from people with 3 or 4 feedbacks. Not only can you not do a negative feedback but you cant event put a negative comment. They delete it. Ebay pls consider blocking all bidders with less than 10 feedbacks from doing negs on any seller. Force them to work with sellers to solution any issue they may have. A simple programming effort can accomplish this.

I also suspect Ebay will also lose lots of sellers when the tax hikes kick in. The IRS cant wait. I have been selling for 10 years and pay enough taxes so I will be finding another hobby.
