after looking at how google is setting up froogle and gbuy it is now pretty clear that they will indeed end ebays power as the only place to go to buy items....

froogle shows still beta stage but it does show how it may gonna work... and it looks like a good plan that will work.. while setting up froogle and gbuy yes google don't need to advertize yet........ebay.com and froogle.com 2 places where people can put in a search for items they are interested in.....with ebay.com one has to register to buy from.... with froogle.com search takes you to the product where we should make it where its EASY and where one does not have to register... yes this will bring us alot more non paying bidders but we need to have a system in place where this does NOT take up our time..... also the product thru froogle.com will be cheaper cause of sellers not paying outrageous fees...buyers will take a chance at times with a site less secure if it has a lower price... and then if it goes thru fine then this buyer has confidence for all later buying.....

when items comes up in search on froogle it also shows where one can click to see other items from this seller and shows the name right off...... i think its best to make the 2nd name for people to remember your own name froogle first and then the item comes up and shows your website with your name instead of ecrater.com or blujay.com.... these sites like ecrater.... blujay... bidville will be the next best way for ones items other than ones website...

with ebay it shows it takes 3.5 seconds to load a page.. with ecrater 1.7 .. with bidville 1.3..... this also will be a factor in ebay losing buyers .. yep when google gets this set up then ADVERTIZES it then will force ebay to lower fees drastically....then sellers will be able to make alot better from both ebay and froogle.... but sellers being so mad at ebay.. they will give any equal profits they may make to the opposite of ebay...... ebay will always now have a disadvantage...

yes the way it seems google is setting up froogle and gbuy.....its pretty much over for ebay..... the new power will be google and the best websites......the searches will turn up ebay items also....but the searches will make it EQUAL your items to ebays items or ecraters... and then your name will be there and not ebay or ecrater and a link to your items not a link to ecrater or ebay sites items.... having ones own website will be alot better than ecrater.. blujay or bidville cause of how it shows up on froogle..... so now the rush will be ON for companies to make their money making the best and cheapest websites for people.. ecrater and blujay and bidville are not a website for people and does not work as well as ones own website with froogle..that is iF one sets up his website correctly!!!

Really great info! Thanks!

Can't wait to get into the meat of this info this weekend.

Once again, THANKS!
Donna
read this thorough analysis of gbuy and paypal....!!

already gbuy is faster to use and less costly ..... ebay has to put their money now away from companies that involves buying and selling online... they have too much baggage now to compete....

if ebay keeps their money in ebay.. their stock will fall like a rock... they have to go into OTHER BUSINESSES...

read this and weap... ebay stockholders !!

https://www.citigroupgeo.com/pdf/SBD86668.pdf
with how google has got gbuy already faster and easier to use for both sellers and buyers and it beling less costly.. this speaks volumns... the other areas where paypal is ahead of gbuy are just factors that go along as time does... paypal coming back now and lowering fees to match and making it faster and easier this will be seen as more proof of their ripping sellers and buyers off and this will generate bad will towards paypal and ebay.... now its too late for ebay and paypal cause thier lowering of fees will prove to all they always could have done that..

the guy analyzing ebay in the above earlier link... did a great job.. but he did not factor in this bad will that ebay has and will get more when ebay trys to lower fees cause of froogle and gbuy....

google has demonstrated they have whats needed ... they have the knowldge ..they will indeed be the place to buy items on the internet.... it also is wise to let all these other sites like bidville.. ecrater.. overstock...blujay. let the owners of these sites work with the ebay mad sellers to get gbuy going strong with sellers and buyers.... do this before google sets up froogle the best way.. setting frrogle the best way will eliminate middle men.. like ecrater.. bidville blujay overstock owners after they have worked and got sellers and buyers going with gbuy..... looks like what works best is a website with ones own url... this makes it where all ones marketing outside of the internet goes directly to you.... and the internet selling efficiency comes from google and froogle.... i think after gbuy is set up enough .. google will have a service very effcient to build websites for sellers and it going along best with froogle... this way google will ellimnate the middle men and make the products where only the buyers.. the sellers and google corporation makes the money....

yes froogle will kill all other sites and soon ebay too.....and then THEY will be the place to buy from and to sell... BUT then will they shoot for fast profits and raise fees fast or keep them lower so that they can stay the ONLY PLACE ????
Yup, all these payment and selling venues are amassing so much information so fast, you better be on your toes and ready to jump. At the rate they are going it will not be far off when we all have to take a micro chip of commerce just to buy and sell. But in the meantime dive in and sell your socks off until more changes come along.

The fact of the matter is all this is beginning to change faster as time marches/ runs on now. Maybe we should have gone a little easy on ebay..........Not! Websites are where it is at. I make vastly more money on mine than on auctions of any kind.

Auctiva ought to consider what google is doing and begin to offer the no brainer super build website system that is so far advanced over anyone elses that they become the leader of this kind of thing. There is gold in those new hills if you know where to look.
yes, with how google is setting up gbuy and froogle.....it looks like they will be streamlining the whole online selling and buying system....and maybe really streamlining to make it faster and easier and cheaper for both sellers and buyers.... the test out on gbuy is a good indication....the test results are that gbuy is faster as well as easier for both buyers and sellers and cheaper... they have streamlined and made a better online payment system... so they may do the same.. with all of online selling and buying... make it better value for both buyers and sellers...

yes with this google system... so many middle men will be eliminated... they may even have in house services to make every part of buying and selling online best... a service for building the best and cheapest webstore...and this will put alot of middle men out of business.. BUT make it cheaper for both buyers and sellers...google has the mother of all search boxes ....to search in ebay one gets to see items that are about to end first, which means they can search at different times and see different items in the first 5 pages or so... but with froogle search if the first 5 pages are the ones with the highest rank... how could a person search at different times and see different items on the first 5 pages.... the same 5 pages every time would a negative against ebay.....anyone know how froogle could make the searches where one can see different items on the first 5 pages ??

i think froogle will end nearly all 3rd party sites .. and independant website builders may have to work for google and thier website building team....

I would love a lower cost model like, CityMax. They are very easy to use.

I agree, now is a great time to offer eStores (at a resonable rate) that are integrated with eBay. In other words, when buyers check out of an eBay auction they are legally redirected to my off eBay store. eBay's Prostores are AWFUL! There are a few other companies that offer this but the fee structure is CRAZY! They want a monthly fee PLUS a percentage of sales.

Think about this product model. A little savvy coding here and there. Come on Auctiva, build us a super highway to a great storefront. Think volume when you set up the fee structure and you'll rake in the customers.
I think froogle/google/yahoo/anyone, has the ability to rise to the top if they apply the right model plan. The problem I see, as you point out, is that we are all prey to the Greed Monster, at least I am...

I think what I am trying to figure out is how to choose the next wave, and gain the ability to know when to jump off before it crest's, and pick another wave to ride.
