Hi Paulette - If I'm reading you correctly you simply want to add an image to an active listing. Quite easy, you can revise your saved Auctiva listing with the added pic, then copy/paste the HTML into your active listing.

Step by step:
1) Locate your listing in your Saved Listings folder, add your pic, preview, and save.
2) Check the box next to your updated listing in your Saved Listings folder and click the “Get HTML” button.
3) Copy the HTML in the popup box.
4) Locate the item on eBay and click the "Revise Item" button.
5) Click "Edit Description" then click the "Enter your own HTML" tab.
6) Paste the copied HTML in place of what's there and save your changes.

Hope this helps.

Hi Ninth, thanks so much for replying. I'm not really trying to add a new photo to an active listing. What I'm trying to do is to save my first photo that's already there to ebay so that if auctiva goes down I will have one photo saved to ebay. Ebay used to host one free photo for you. Essentially what I'm trying to do is to get that little camera symbol fixed on my first existing photo. It used to be easy to do but not it's not. When I want to add photos to an active listing I just use the add photo button in the auctiva active listing mode, it works great. Thanks again! Paulette
Hi Paulette,

When you are creating your listings through Auctiva, you can actually place 16 or more images in each listing without being assessed any of those pesky 15 cent additional image fees by eBay. You can either place images in the "Select an Image" boxes or directly into the description editor on the Auctiva lister page and, either way, you will not be charged by eBay for any additional images.

In order to have a thumbnail image appear on eBay's search results pages, instead of the little green camera icon, you must utilize eBay's "Gallery" feature. When creating your listings, to use the "Gallery" feature, you must check the box next to "Gallery" in the "Marketing Tools" section of the lister page, and specify which image you'd like to use as your gallery image from the "Select an Image" box labeled "Gallery".

Also, if you would like to add the "Gallery" feature to a listing that has already been posted to eBay, you will need to revise it via the following steps:

1) Visit the item on eBay.
3) Right click on the image you'd like to make your gallery image and click "Properties"
4) Copy the image URL...it begins with "http://..."
5) Click the "Revise your Item" link on the auction.
6) Click the “Add Pictures” button.
7) Delete the text in the “Gallery Picture URL” field and replace it with the copied URL.
7) Click “Insert Pictures” and then save your changes.

-Mike
