When I look at my items, it shows a $ amount for shipping, but I've chosen calculated shipping for each. I tried logging out of ebay and searching for my items and it still shows a shipping amount. Thanks for any suggestions. Carol

That's because eBay saves your info including your ZIP code in a "cookie" on your computer. That way you don't have to type in your zip code everytime your want to calculate shipping, ebay retrieves the saved ZIP code from your computer and enters it automatically. If you want to verify that it's working properly, log out of ebay, delete your cookies, then log back in.

the "zip code" field on eBay's shipping calculator is prefilled with that of the member viewing the auction so, while you see your zip code and associated shipping estimate on your auctions, buyers in different locations will see their respective zip codes and associated shipping estimates
