I'm switching to external image hosting, due to cost of Auctiva image hosting.

I'm noticing that the images aren't enlarged, until they are clicked. See ebay listing 151018935306 as an example. The first thumbnail, down in the listing, should be enlarged, like it is in all my other listings, no?

Do Auctiva image hosted listings behave differently than externally hosted image listings?

Hi PhilthyCollins,

Thanks for pointing this out. I reviewed the listing you mentioned and the main image that appears based on which thumbnail you mouse over is definitely are not as large as it should be. I attempted to reproduce this behavior using other externally hosted images and was unable, so I think this may be specific to your images in some way.

I have forwarded the details of this issue over to our technical team for further investigation and I will follow up with you again through this thread once we have been able to determine what is causing this more specifically.

We apologize for any inconveniences this issue is causing. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the “Help” tab and selecting the “File Support Case” option.

Mike, this seems to be happening to my externally hosted images...but not all of them. And, I'm not sure why.

Before I upload my images to my host, I resize them to 1280 x 1024, if that helps you with anything.

The confusing part, is the inconsistancy between listings. I'd sure appreciate it if you could expedite this, as it's limiting my posting of listings to eBay.
Hi PhilthyCollins,

Thank you for the additional information. I am not sure if the size of your images is necessarily related to this behavior, but I have passed those details over to our technical team in case it is relevant to the investigation.

I'm not sure how quickly we will be able to get to the bottom of this, but I will certainly keep you posted. It appears to be limited to a very specific set of circumstances and we have not received any other reports of this nature so far.

Hi PhilthyCollins,

No, I'm afraid I do not have any further details on exactly what is causing this, but we have made note of the details surrounding this behavior and are going to look into coming up with a solution for the issue as part of an upcoming site update.

I am still uncertain when we may be able to address this particular issue but, as I mentioned initially, I will follow up with you again through this thread to make you aware of any additional information that becomes available. I'm sorry that I cannot be of more help at this time.

-Mike
