Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I have 2 problems. #1 is that images from one auction is showing in another auction - one auction was created on Auctiva and one was created on Ebay. I guess my question is is when you join Auctiva can you still create auction on Ebay without Auctiva?

The 2nd problem is that right after I joined Auctiva I changed a picture on a Ebay item and the picture never changed in Auctiva so the old photo is still showing.

Does anyone else have these issues? or is it just me?? Also, I can't delete the incorrect images in the auctions, because neither Ebay or Auctiva show the photos when I go to revise the auction? Thank you for your comments and suggestions!!!

In answer to the first question, Yes you can still create and submit auctions on ebay.

On the 2nd problem, changing a photo on an ebay auction using the ebay revise listing and upload to ebay, won't automatically change a stored photo on Auctiva's server. You would need to update the photo on Auctiva in your Image library using Image Management and Replace.

On the third question, the ebay Revise listing should give you the ability to delete or replace a problem image. However, it might be best to post the links to the problem auction(s) and/or the auction #'s and explain the problem with each in the Forum. I or someone else experienced with that type of problem can give best advise on how to proceed.

Thank you for your help.

The auction #380009171591 is the one that I created this a.m. on Ebay and the pictures from the auction I created on Auctiva yesterday became linked to it, somehow.

I have tried to revise the auction from both Ebay and Auctiva sites with no luck as the pictures do not show linked to the auction.

I have requested help from tech support also.

Thanks again,
Nancy,

I see the Ambulance picture (which I assume matches the title) at both the header and the trailer for the auction. The pictures embedded in the description section are the ones I'm assuming need to be deleted. Those pictures are not on ebay's picture storage, they are at Auctiva. I can tell, because hovering my mouse over each picture shows a "link" back to Auctiva's server at the bottom of the browser window.

You could either use ebay's Revise listing and locate those pictures at the bottom of the DESCRIPTION section and directly delete them. If you locate the pictures and can select to hightlight them with the editor, you should be able to delete the pictures and code. Use the PREVIEW before you confirm the revision, just to make sure it's correct and/or can back-off and try again.

Or, you could locate the pictures on Auctiva in your picture library and update them with corrected pictures.

Thank you again for your help. Yes, you were correct regarding which images I needed to delete.

After your response, I went back to the auction and revised - the images were actually imbedded in the description, instead of where I'm used to the images being displayed. Right clicked and cut them from the description and now they do not show.

Still not sure how the pictures got into the description, but....all is well with at least that auction.

Thank you for all of your assistance.
