Help!, Some of my listings are too large and you have to scroll across the page to read them. I noticed that somebody else had the same problem and they were told to reduce the size of their images to 640 x 480, which they did, and it worked. However, my images are already this size, so that won't help. Also, if anybody has a solution, is it possible to edit the existing listings or do I have to do them all again?
Thanks,
Hetty.

Hi again,
Yes, you can make the images smaller in Auctive. Here is how to do it:
[LIST]Go to 'manage images'
Choose the one that you want to edit . Tick the box and then click on the 'edit' button at the top.
Now you will see the size of the image and a box to tick to constrain proportions at the bottom of the page.In the boxes change the number of one of them to something smaller. At the top of the page above the picture click on 'resize'.
You can preview it and save it now.

The problem that I had, however wasn't to do with the images. It turned out to be something to do with my seller details not wrapping, so I had to do the following. (I'll give you these details as I found them really useful).

To correct this stretching in your listing, you would need to edit your seller detail profile to eliminate the stretching by going to "Profiles" -> "Manage Seller Details" then click "Edit" next to the profile you want to edit, or insert a different seller details profile into the listing altogther. Once you have done either, then you would need to follow the steps below to revise your active listings that currently have this problem.

1) Locate your listing in your Saved Listings folder, make any necessary changes, and save.
2) Check the box next to your updated listing in your Saved Listings folder and click the "Get html" button.
3) Select All and copy the html in the popup window.
4) Locate the item on eBay and click the "Revise Item" button.
5) Click "Edit Description" then click the "Enter your own html" tab above the description editor.
6) Delete the html that is already there and then paste the copied html in its place and save your changes.

GOOD LUCK! Smile
