i've never had a problem with pics not uploading until today. now when i try to upload using the auctiva uploader, the one thats supposed to resize for you isn't resizing. i get an error message: "you can not upload files larger than 3.5 mb. Images larger than 3.5 mb have "not" been added." if the 3.5 mb image has NOT been added, then why won't it let me upload? it won't even let me add it to the que to be loaded. i tried it the other way and load them individually but then it just fails. thanks.

Hi,

I know that the Auctiva Uploader does examine every picture that's in the candidate folder chosen for selection of the images. I'm curious if the problem 3.5+MB pic is in that folder, even though it's not selected for upload.

Suggestion: Try creating a folder that contains just the pictures you want to upload, i.e. none greater than the 3.5MB limit. Note, Auctiva CEO Jeff also suggested this method would cutdown on processor overhead at the desktop. I have noted that slower processor systems might have a conflict between the preprocessing and the upload process that results in other failures, particularly with Java version of the uploader.
