thought i read that auctiva was going to let sellers send automated buyer emails- e.g., 'got your payment; item shipped', but haven't seen that feature. is auctiva still working on it or have they given up on it?

Yes, we will be adding this feature to the Auctiva website as part of our Phase II release, which is tentatively scheduled for Q1 of 2007.

I am really looking forward to this feature!!! I spend hours every day, just sending out "thank you for your payment", "your order has been shipped" emails alone. This will be a big time saver. Can't wait!
Suggestion: I hope there will be an option so that we will be able to insert our own message and tracking number if desired.

It's looking more like somewhere around the later half of Q2 now. In the May-June time frame.
In the meantime we have a $12 a month product that is a desktop software that does this. You may want to use it in the meantime if you are spending that much time. In a few clicks you can do what you spend hours a day doing now.

It looks a lot like an excel spreadsheet. You can select multiple rows at a time and right click to perform almost any action at once.
