Hi I have just started (last weekend) listing with Auctiva on Ebay and except for 2 items that listed at the exact scheduled time last night all the others are taking up to 7 hours to appear even though I get a confirmation from Ebay that it listed at the appropiate time. I can see them in My Ebay and here in Auctiva but they are not showing up until much later in search and the catagory list.

Today I did an immediate post (not a scheduled post)at noon and it is now 6:15 pm and it still hasn't showed up.

Did I just pick a bad week to start? Am I doing something wrong? Is this what I can expect?

Yes, on very heavy submission days, I've had the item delay showing-up in Category too.

No PAIN, No GAIN. Roll Eyes

I've been listing books on Monday evening to avoid the weekend CRUSH. Mine usually index and cat. in a few hours on an off night. Actually, I've had pretty good sales on that basis too with a few bidding wars that really took me by surprise. I like the theory of list on Monday and the weekend browsers see my stuff all through the week and the next weekend for max exposure. Sat and Sun just seem to be a crunch with only bargain hunters for bidders.

Edit: I also sometimes do 10 day listing on Friday to get 2 full weekends of browsers and a finish on the Monday. That works too; especially to get a flock to follow my auctions from week to week. Now I get alot of repeat customers.

I dont see it in "MY Ebay" along with all of my other active listings

That suggests the possibility the submission had an error and was rejected/failed submission review. If you click on the Auctiva home page, you'll see an EVENTS counter at top right. Are you showing a count of 1 and in which of the three positions. If you click on the Events link, it will take you to a page with all Successes and Failures with causes.
