Items in Store Window

You can edit store items by clicking the store tab..then choose edit items.

Wait a minute -- is this one of the new features? Do those "add featured" and "remove featured" buttons mean we can actually choose what's in the store window?

I dont think it applies to the scrolling window...cant say for sure though. Im pretty sure it just applies to your store. I have never used it...I just know its there..lolol.

Jan, Im almost certain you cannot edit the scrolling window...but I think the scrolling window picks up your first 14 listed auctions...so if you want your featured items to be in it...just make sure they are the first 14 auctions you create and list...at least thats logical anyway..lol "Live Long And Prosper" ...lol

Yeah, that's true -- if you don't list a whole lot or you only list once a week or something then you can manage what's in the store window that way.

Yes, but that's just within the storefront itself and not the store window that appears on the listings.

Yes, I would love to be able to customize my scrolling window.

everyone i featured is now in scrolling store window, also on store page as featured

How many listings do you have running?

85 running

click on edit store , check box ,make a featured it then is in the scrolling window upon next refresh

I don't mean to be a jerk, 3-bs, but -- The ones that are featured definitely aren't ones closest to ending? (Which would be in the store window anyway.)

If you really can feature in the store window like that, then it's a new one one me!

correct, i featured a selectfew to draw bidres attention, somewhat confusing this week as i normally end auctions on weds and sundays but no weds this week as out of town when ending but i still wnr and edited to give a good mix as i normally list many close to same items in a group, so i featered a few of each, 7 are not ones ending soonest in fact 4 are last to end . try it and see if it works for you remembering that it will not show till after auctiva update

Hi Community,

The "Select Featured" option places your featured items on the front page of your Auctiva store but does not give them priority placement on the store window.

The store window is set to display 14 items at a time and is refreshed every 2 hours. When the store window refreshes, it is repopulated with a selection of 14 active listings ending around the same time as the next auction of yours that is viewed. We will be increasing the store window capacity to 20 in the near future.

The only way you can control what goes in your store window is by making items hidden. To do this, go to Auctiva -> Store(tab) -> Edit Items. Items that are made hidden will not be shown in your store window the next time it refreshes.
