I just listed my first item and the item shows up everywhere in my ebay for sale and the item number exists yet it is not showing up when I search for the item. I read that it takes some time to show up in ebay searches but how much?

Generally, about 6 hours, but it varies alot and is probably ebay-load activity dependent. Heavy listing days like Sat. and Sun. seem to be the worst.

Well it has been more than 6 hours now and still nothing in the search?

What could be my next alternative.

i.e. ask ebay tech support why it's not done indexing after 6 hours.
