Listings not showing up in my eBay store!

Hi this is totally normal when you first open your store through a 3rd party site like Auctiva. ebay checks to make sure no one has hijacked your account. all should appear normal in about 6 hours or so

Yeah, I've heard that before but ebay is saying I have 5 active listings, they're just not showing up in my store or anywhere. I'm just hoping this isn't going to be a regular occurence because my wife and I have a ton of stuff to list. I recently uploaded about 2000 photos of stock items to auctiva and I've been creating and saving listings. If this is going to keep happening I'm better off with Vendio, sure you have to pay but i'm sure they're more reliable, you know?

Hi, cool down, as Taz said this is normal and is a one off occurence, I reallly wish Auctiva would make this known up front !

It is annoying, however my listings are now up as of 9:30 pm Yesterday. It took almost 6 hours to get them up!When I spoke to eBay's live customer support chat I was told it was their Indexing Service. I Personally don't wish to have to deal with a 6 hour delay everytime i list something. I truly hope this was a one time occurrence.

Hi queenoffreak, getting a little unclear here as to your activities. All items being removed from view in eBay when you first join Auctiva is a one off, the indexing delay happens everytime from a 3rd party site including Auctiva.

However scheduling from eBay costs money and of course if the listings are already on eBay early enough it is quite likely they could index them ahead of them actually going live, henec no apparent delay. This is obviously not possible when they arrive from a 3rd party site.

You as the seller of your wares need to determine which is best for you based on your wares and customer base as to which route for listing is best for you, e.g. that paying eBay for scheduling is insignificant relative to your planned profit.

As an aside, the delay does not affect end time and most bidding in my experience seems to occur in the closing minutes (often seconds)particulalry for very cheap, very expensive or sought after items.

Choo Choo guy, there was nothing in the store to begin with. I had just opened it and listed my items through Auctiva. I then went to eBay, My eBay page said I had 5 Active Listings, yet the 5 items i listed were not in the store. The ebay My World page said I had no items for sale. I expected a slight delay but not 6 hours. What activities are unclear to you? I was confused by the situation and the severe length of time it took to get my listings posted to my store. The issue is fixed this thread is over I thank you all for your help it is greatly needed and seriously appreciated.
