Anyone have any ideas why listings saved on my laptop that has Windows Vista show up with "null" for the description when opened on my desktop with windows 8?

I would very much like an answer to this as well, as I am having the same problem. I cannot type in the description area using windows 8. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!
Try changing your compatibility view in your Tools settings. See if that works.
