I would much rather have the store wondow at the bottom of the listing. I've actually had customers complain to me that it is very distracting having it at the top.

Can you add a location button or something to the Store Window preferences?? We can choose wether to have it horizontally, vertically or full - would it be that hard to let us choose top or bottom placement???

Hi Nadine,

The "scrolling" view of the store window is set to appear at the top of your listings. It can, however, be inserted at the bottom of your listings if you insert the store window html in the bottom of the html description. The store window html can be found at Auctiva -> Store -> Store Window -> Store Window HTML.

You may also want to check out the "full" view of the store window as it is set to appear at the bottom of your listings. To preview this view, go to Auctiva -> Store -> Store Window -> Edit Store Window.

You may want to type this as a suggestion in our "Suggestions" section of the community board and it will surely be seen by our developers.

hello Nadine, Mike, and Wahm922

Glad this discussion is happening, as I've also gotten complaints about the store window location.

I followed Mike's instructions to use the store window HTML at the bottom of the item description HTML. Now, the store window appears after the written part of my item description, but before the photos of my item. Not good!

Don't get me wrong, I like the store window, but it's proper place in the listing is after my item has been fully described, not before or during. Mike and Wahm922, how do I make the store window appear at the very bottom of my item description, after my verbal description and after my item photos?

Diane
Hi all,

There is also a way to make the store window appear below the template in your listings. Here's how:

1) Go to Auctiva -> Listings(tab) -> Manage(Custom Templates)
2) Click "Create from Existing"
3) Select the template you like to use and click "Create"
4) In the template html editor, simply add the [STORE_WINDOW] tag below the existing template html.
5) Save your changes.

Once you have done this, you'll be able to find this template under the category "Custom" in your template library. When this template is used, the store window will be displayed below the template.

I hope this helps=)

-Mike
