And after working so hard all summer to keep my 20% PS discount, I find it very ironic that now I won't have much to sell til November. My discount will be gone by then

Driving late at night is great, clear roads and only the occasional high speed nutter to avoid who thinks they're the only one around. Most of the drunks are already at home or in ditches, I hate traffic queues and always prefer working hours which avoided the crush hours

Well Ms M I tend to agree, we have kept it on life support for some while now but I think it would now be kinder to let it slip away.

I used to be quite active on most Auctiva boards when I was selling a lot of items on greedbay, the days when it was still fun. Long gone This thread provided a pleasant break full of banter and lunacy, but it does need a large varied bunch of lunatics to keep it fresh, I'm right out of ideas .

To me GreedBay as a source of income is almost history and I think the absence of most of the original crew on this thread and seemingly elsewhere on these boards reflects a general lack of enthusiasm as the online community spirit of GreedBay has waned.

Not a month goes past without more money grabbing from GreedBay, shortly we (UK) will have to offer free p&p for DVD's, it's strange but the Royal Mail and packing suppliers still expect payment for their products

It's been a real pleasure chatting/bantering with you and our long lost epic threaders, I will still keep a watch on this thread.

I only list to order on greedbay for some items now, I prefer to sell things like magazine items on Specialist Auctions at this time much more cost effective even with a low sale rate.

Greedbay is so complicated and anti-small seller these days I can hardly be bothered to sell on it now, I live in hope that the stand alone Auctiva store will be a success so I can use their tools again.

Oh the latter, you are so right! I need to figure out other Special Auction sites...takes so much time.

The 'Dim' dimension, haven't had a chance to give it a try as I have been busy getting listings out on the SA site.

Hopefully Auctiva's greater web presence will produce a decent sell through rate where auctions can be safely run (in other words multiple bidders to lift the selling price)

Still no joy with the login but had a play anyway and will look at it more seriously when the store is available for use and the actual fee structure is published.

A few tips :-
1) try not to fall asleep in the garden in case you get dug in to the flower bed
2) be careful not to fall into the bin when putting it out for collection
3) check the contents of the cleaner after using it for missing parts
4) sneeze carefully to catch any loose parts
