Posting to Ebay

Seems to me like it was about 4 hours - that may have changed now tho- Dawn

It took my listings 6 hours yesterday. Seems long to me.

It is usually 6 hours on the dot and more for high fraud items. EBay is indexing them. Do a search on these boards for indexing for lots more discussions about this.

thank you for your reply, it is interesting because I list other items (besides software which is what took so long this time around) like clothing which is up w/in 1/2 hour or so.

I have one item that was listed by auctiva over 24 hours ago. It does not show up on my ebay summary yet, but auctiva shows that it has been viewed 4 times. Never had this happen before. anyone know?

I thought i had done something wrong when my listings do not show up straightaway!!
If i listed with ebay they show up straightaway.
Not with autivia.
It took 6 or more hours, of which i had cancelled the listing and done it again with ebay therefore paying the fee twice. Then when i checked the next day they where on.
Very frustrating when the most important time is the first day and the last day.What a waste.
I hope they do something about it, and get them on within the first hour, they used too a few months back.

I am not totally clear as to why it seems to have something to with Auctiva-- they do show up in "My eBay" right away, just they don't get indexed in a short period of time for some reason. I have never had to wait more than 1 hour when I listed with Vendio or directly through eBay.
Any insight?
