Problem with saving work on item description and previews

I am having problem with saving my work on the item description which I had copy and paste from a previous listing. Preview does not worked either. Is anyone having the same problem. Help is appreciated. thanks

Any chance it was saved as a Word or other word processing document as an intermediate step, and that's where it's being copied from?

If so, Word format isn't compatible with HTML and does cause a problem.
