I have changed my some of my photos using the replace functionality in the image management section. This appears to work as the listing on eBay shows the new replaced photos when viewing on a PC, however when I view the same listing using an iPad the old photos are showing meaning anyone using an iPad (or possibly any apple product) is see the wrong photo.

Does anyone know what is going wrong and how I can fix this (I have tried to manually change the URL in the eBay listing but the same thing happens)

Hi Bumblebee_79,

Thanks for contributing to our forum. Since you are seeing the replacement images you uploaded when you view your listings through your PC but not through your iPad, I suspect the old images may cached by the browser on your iPad so I recommend clearing your cache to see if that allows you to see the new images you uploaded.

You can clear your Safari cache from the Settings section of your iPad by selecting “Safari” on the left panel, clicking the “Clear Cookies and Data” button and then clicking the “Clear” button in the ensuing prompt.

Also, if you use the Replace option on the Image Management page to replace an image that is used in the Gallery section and the new image shows up in the description but not the Gallery section, you should just need to upload the new image into the “Bring your item to life with pictures” section using the eBay Revise your Item form to make it show up there as well.

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the “Help” tab within your account and selecting the “File Support Case” option.
