Hi,

New user of Auctiva.

Just trialling at the moment. Have some listings on eBay that I have listed just using Ebay website. Now I have signed up for Active I wanted to revise them to add themes to description as well as showing gallery of my other items for sale.

When i have imported my current listings to Auctiva and clicked revise it just shows bulk revise then shows me 2 boxes to add descriptions?

Is there anyway to add theme / gallery to all my previous listings?

Have looked through website FAQ but not having much luck!

Thanks in advance

Rachael

Hello rachaellinnc -

Once you have generated a valid token in your Auctiva account, your active listings import automatically to the Active Listings page of your account, at which time they are scheduled to have the scrolling gallery added to them (as long as you have the option for the scrolling gallery set to yes in your preferences, it is set to yes by default). The Gallery will then show up to 16 of your other active listings at a time.

If by theme you refer to adding any of our templates to your active listings, this is not something that can be done in bulk - but must be done on a listing by listing basis. While there are a number of things you can modify in bulk for your already active listings, the options that show under the bulk revise tool are the ones we currently offer.

To add our gallery to already active listings, you would need to recreate the description and images portions of the listing in your Saved Listings and add your template to that. After saving the listings with the template you wish, you can then get the HTML for that listing and use it on eBay using the revise your item form to replace the current HTML on listings that can be revised. Alternately, once the items close on eBay, you can import them to your Saved Listings from your Closed Listings page and make any modifications to them prior to reposting them.

If you have more specific questions about any of this, please feel free to file a support case from under the Help tab of the site letting us know your questions and we will be happy to continue working with you.
