My same items keep appearing up in the scrolling gallery, it was my understanding they were supposed to change every few hours.
Am I correct in this, how do i correct the situation?
Any help will be appreciated.

The gallery displays the items ending soonest and refreshs every 4 hours.
Thank you for your quick reply, I just opened a store recently and at the moment I have no items for auction, I am just trying to load listing first. So am I to understand that since I have no items for auction, that the same items will keep appearing?

Now you've got me. If you have no auctions, I'm not sure whether the gallery is designed to rotate your store items. Since the gallery displays a maximum of 14 items, it might be possible to force it to display alternate items if you were to make some of the currently displayed items 'hidden'. You can do this in the gallery settings. Just a thought, it's not something I'd want to do frequently.
