Any ideas how to get it showing my latest eBay products, and not things that ended years ago?
A few days back I updated my token (Or got a new token what ever it was). I hoped that by giving it a few days it would have updated itself to newer products but it hasnt. I also thought that maybe it might show new products on a new listing, but it didnt. I am creating new ebay listings by copy/paste html but I'm sure Auctiva adds the scrolling gallery itself doesnt it without me adding the code for it?
I havnt messed with or signed into Auctiva for years now until the other day when I noticed this.
Anyway, any help?
Thanks

Hi retro_killer_clothing,

Thanks for posting about your issue here. I believe that these ended listings most likely got stuck in your scrolling gallery because the token linking your Auctiva account to your eBay account expired but, if that was the only issue, I would have expected the ended items to be removed automatically since you generated a new token a few days ago.

If you are still seeing these ended items in your scrolling gallery, please contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the “Help” tab within your account and clicking the “File Support Case” option and we will look into this further.

For the time being, you should be able to remove those items from your scrolling gallery manually by mousing over the “Stores” tab within your account, selecting the “Manage Items”, and marking them as “Hidden”. Once you have done so, the hidden items should no longer show up in your scrolling gallery within a few hours.

Also, as long as you have a valid token and keep the “Append Auctiva Scrolling Gallery to my listings” setting in your Auctiva Account Preferences section enabled, our system should automatically add the scrolling gallery to each new listing you post and you should not need to add the scrolling gallery HTML manually.

I hope this helps!

Hi retro_killer_clothing,

I'm pleased to hear your scrolling gallery has since updated. I did reinitiate the update process that should have occurred automatically when you generated a new token yesterday, but it did not work immediately so I was concerned that it may not remove these ended items due to the same issue that caused them not to be removed in the first place.

Although it is not possible to customize your scrolling gallery to display more than 16 items at any given time, we do offer a couple different options that may help you highlight different items within your scrolling gallery if you would like.

By default, your scrolling gallery is configured to display your items ending soonest but, if you would prefer, you can configure your scrolling gallery to highlight a random selection of your items. We generally recommend the “Random Selection” option for sellers who primarily list Good til' Canceled items which effectively all have the same end time.

If you would like to update your scrolling gallery to use this display logic, just mouse over the “Stores” tab within your account, select the “Customize” option under Scrolling Gallery, click the “Display Options” tab, click the radio button next to “Random Selection”, and then click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.

You can also feature or hide items in your scrolling gallery from the Edit Emporium Items page within your account, which you can reach by mousing over the “Stores” tab and selecting the “Manage Items” link in the Emporium section. Any items that are marked as featured (provided there are not more than 16) will always be displayed in your scrolling gallery and any that are marked as hidden will be removed from your scrolling gallery.

If you make any changes of this nature, they should be reflected within your scrolling then next time it refreshes which happens automatically about every 2 hours.

-Mike
