Geez!! Thank you so much. I've been off wor for about 2 hrs and thought "well gee, thats a nice little scrolly thing on other people auctions, so I put it on mine and WHAM, so have spent the last 2 hrs having a heart attack- emailed auctiva etc asking WHERE is my Ebay store whew

So my EBAY store that I piad for will be up again? hopefully?

I dont really want to do an Auctiva Store since there seems to be some mess up - is there anyway i can NOT have an Auctiva Store when i am Paying for an Ebay Store?

I cant see much since to having both - o yes I have the Basic Ebay store

Thank you so very much - I was having a total cow there!

Again not to worry, your Auctiva store is not a duplication of your ebay store, nor does it create a conflict. The Auctiva "store" does not function as a store like ebay's but more like a 'gallery' - it is merely a display of your active listings on ebay. In other words you can not "stock", or directly buy from the Auctiva store, but it is still good way to give your items more exposure. In the future, Auctiva plans to make it a functional store like ebay's. There are many posts on this board that discuss these stores, lots of good info from very knowledgeble Auctiva members.

PS - You are not the first to have a panic attack over this. There must be at least one new attack per day. There needs to be more advance notice to new members. All your items should come back online, just keep checking on them.
Hi ninth, eBay is going to wear us out dealing with the fall out from their heavy handed 'door men', one day someone will have a heart attack and sue eBay.

I wonder whether it is a ploy to frighten off users from 3rd party listers like Auctiva, afterall how many just blame Auctiva and go back to the money grabbing bully boys without logging on here ?
Agreed 100% it does seem as though this is Ebays way of trying to scare people not to use third party. Thankfully I used Auctiva years ago at a pawn shop I co-owned and was already familiar with it. I did use the paid version then and loved all of the extra features. Ninth it definitely would help if Auctiva added a notice of what to expect. Seems like several times a week a newbie is on here thinking there world came crashing down around there ears because of FeeBays arrogance.Naturally the first thing a new user is going to do is blame Auctiva and head for the hills(or should I say for the FEES Big Grin )

It would definitely save a lot of needless and repetitive thrashing on these boards trying to allay all the fears. Auctiva support folks, are you reading this thread? Cool

P.S. - Also a few tutorials on COMMON questions such as how to revise an active listing, and clarifying the ins and outs of relisting for credit, just to name a few, would make it a lot easier on everyone.

I am so glad I went looking for this information about the Ebay stores and read what ya'll wrote. I was curious about having to keep the store and I guess I do for now. That is OK. But I am really glad I did not go looking in my store after signing up to Auctiva. I would have had a stroke as well. I look forward to the day when this site can be my store. I really do like the ease with which I have listed items and the look is terrific. And the fast responses when I have asked questions is unbelievable. So thanks for the info. Nickie
I think it is unconscionable that there is no warning of this given. Had I known, I would not have done this during one of my PEAK selling times! I would have waited until 3AM on Thursday or something. Now, my 600+ items are going unnoticed by my potential customers during prime time for me, on SATURDAY. So, this free service is going to end up costing me anyway.

By the way, is there an easy way to back out of Auctiva without going through this again? And, without having to re-list and re-pay my 600+ items again?

Thanks !!
