Hi! I am a definite newbie here. I've been selling on eBay for a little while without very much success. I have my Auctiva store up & running, got the domain name, but as a newbie I am looking for any suggestions. Check out the store at www.fanuch.com and feel free to blast away! Comments, suggestions, criticism, whatever. Thanks for your help & Merry Christmas to you all!

Hey Fanuch I too am a newbie here , but I checked out your store and I have one sugestion that I had to come to grip with myself , It's the pictures bud , I was having the same problems with mine being dark or having the flash glare and what I do now to brighten them up is take them without the flash in a well lit area and then go into edit and adjust the brightness and sometimes the shadow . It really brightens them up and I have noticed better sales with better pic's , its worth a try ? other than that looks good and I wish you luck
Hi Fanuch,

I agree with onecoat0 about your images. They seem a little fuzzy when I Supersize them. I would recommend using tripod and natural light if at all possible because flash tends to throw shadows and hot spots. What kind of camera are you using? And does it have a Macro setting? Use that for close-ups for better detail. People want to see what they are buying and are turned off if the images are fuzzy; to them it appears you are hiding something. And keep the background neutral or white so it doesn't compete with the item. Good Luck!

Thanks Doug. Now I gotta find that darned tripod! It's here somewhere... Camera is olympus D-560. I'm gonna have to actually read the instructions to see if it does macro (whatever that is). I sure don't want it to look as if I am hiding anything. I strive to be sure to always give accurate descriptions. But I see what you guys are saying. Guess I'm gonna delete about 100 pics and start over now. Thanks so much much for the input.
btw: what the heck is "macro", and how is that eCrater? I just started checking that out. Is it worth doing???
Merry Christmas to all!
