Hi, everybody!
Hope you are all well and listing tons on this fantastic new and improved server. Talk about an upgrade! It's a breeze now. Thanks, Auctiva!

Now, the real question. I am a Store Seller on Ebay and would like to take advantage of the new Custom Listing Frame that includes the Left Nav for the Ebay store. The only problem I have is that the listing is then too large and will not fit on the page. It either squeezes the nav bar to a vertical line or the listing becomes too wide and forces the viewer to scroll left and right (which is a no-no in my opinion).
Can anyone help me solve this problem? Basically I need to narrow the basic template I use by 150, but I am not sure how to do that. Also, I don't want to affect the functionality of the basic template I use. Here is an item number for example: http://cgi.ebay.com/Oval-Cut-Solitaire-Rhodolite-Garnet...QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
If you look on the left you will see a single vertical line in Blue/Green or Turquoise, which is the custom color for my Ebay Store.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

Currently this template is set to a width of 95% See the first line here:

<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="75%" align="center">

I changed the 95% to a 75% - you can adjust this to any number to make it fit the screen with the left nav bar Wink

This is also a handy site to test how the page will work on different screen sizes:

Remember most buyers still use the 800x600 resolution!
Hi,

Thank you, that worked great for the size. Now the problem I have is with custom templates showing an ugly blue frame. I really like the frame but would rather have the orginal color from the default template show up. Is there any way I can do that, I can change the frame around the picture to the original black/dark gray color?

Thank you again, I really appreciate the help.
Update:

I kept making the percentage smaller, down to 45%. Revised the item, still shows wide with horizontal scrolling on the Ebay preview of the template. It also shows the nav bar fully. However, when the changes are saved, this is the result you get:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8920858829

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can make this work> I also removed frames, because I really don't like that blue, it has nothing ot do with my color scheme.

Thanks again!
Hi,

I finally figured out the major problem with that:
I use Firefox! It only seems to work with IE, so if you are experiecning a similar problem, please try to opne the item page in IE and you should see the listing with the Left Navigation bar for the store. I checked the stores boards on ebay and they are working on fixing this firefox/mozilla bug.

Thank you for the help!
