This is ridiculous. I have a very expensive ad that is lost in "posting" and now its duplicated it and it is "posting" as well. How the hell do you cancel these things. Your work disappears when you choose a shipping template you created? I AM LOSING MONEY. I find it hard to believe that they launched this thing with out working out these bugs! Spell check would be nice, or even a web hosting that updates the damn store window on the site. Great idea, horrible techs. can anyone tell me how to get this listing NOT to duplicate on me? HELPPPPPP!
Actually, I wasn't comparing Auctiva to SD, though I see now how it could have sounded that way. I was comparing the grumbling on the AV boards to the grumbling on the SD boards.

However, it does seem to me that we have really had a lot more problems here lately. I know I have and, from reading the boards, it seems others have as well. I truly hope it is all worked out soon.
Hi. I'm fairly new and have enought experience to say I think Auctiva is great, mostly. It has been very slow lately to the point of being discouraging, but I have a question for anyone who has checked out ebay's quicker-lister: are they aiming at preventing people from using a third-party photo-hoster (eventually, I mean)? I get this note lately in my listings advising me to use their photo service for "faster downloads". Is everyone getting that?? It's true that Auctivas pictures don't always download very quickly.....

I believe they have put that on every single listing. It's just trying to grab more revenue by getting you to sign up for their extra storage space. I don't think it necessarily means they will be stopping other picture hosting.

THANK YOU!
I hadn't noticed a cancel option. But what and how can I cancel if there is no record of anything being attempted to post??????

Click on the events link way up at the top right-hand corner of the page. Then click on the green events link. Set the Event Level Filter to show the failures. That shows me my postings that did not go through. By clicking on one of those postings, it brings up the options to cancel the posting or edit the listing. This is how it works for ME, which is no guarantee it will works this way for YOU. Smile I've noticed people have different problems with the site. Good luck!
