Why would you not want to Supersize your images....buyers really like to be able to see what they are buying up close. Up to until now, all the users I've heard from want their images supersized and generally the bigger the better. We recently raised the maximum size to 1280x1024 pixels; it had been smaller previously.

But...if you are really set in your mind on not supersizing, then you can use images that are smaller than 400 x 300. When you do that the "Supersize" links won't show beneath them.

Something else to think about....Auctiva also now supports loading eBay gallery images our lister page (you may have to pay eBay fees for those...see them for rules) so you could do that and not use images in the template.
