What is Auctivas Insurance policy is it different then USPS?

I am not understanding why auctiva would offer a discount on insurance from the post office, is there something I need to know before i choose that over USPS?? Like is there a stricter requirement for customers claiming insurance or something as a seller I need to know that is different from USPS. Thanks!

Claims are actually quite a bit easier and the terms are more lenient than USPS.

In addition, you can insure ANY package, even international.

I just made my first sale with Auctivas Insurance enabled. The shipping charge is added on to the insured total. Does this insurance really cover the shipping too? That is way different than the USPS!
