I was able to post a listing (with pictures) late last night (Sunday, about 11:30 PM EDT). That was the first time in almost two weeks Auctiva has worked! Outside of Rick, there has been little to no information from Auctiva on their problems at hand. I feel that Jeff has mandated the worst possible tech support as company policy, and absolutely no communications with requesters of tech support or with Auctiva users.

Not a sermon, just a thought.
I read the posts yesterday and thought it was funny how optimistic everyone was. "Maybe it's because it's Sunday..." blah blah. Well, like you, this has been happening for me for two weeks. I tried to get to my account information to completely get rid of auctiva and them to get rid of my "token" or whatever it is. I finally listed directly through eBay after an hour and a half of losing posts on Saturday. Now because I have that token, auctiva, like some drunken friend you want to just leave slumped at the bar, is staggering after me by making space for my auctiva store window a day after the listing posted. Only it won't load, so I have this gigantic empty spot in the middle of my listing with the message (read as spoken in a drunken slur) "Present your best items with Auctiva's FREE Showcase." Not to mention the slow loading for poor dial-up bidders because of it who I'm sure finally get frustrated and move on. Now not only can I not use them, but they're hurting my business!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats how i see things as well, when my business suffers I suffer and basically in business I am unforgiving if service is bad or system faults.

But I am willing to let auctiva work there problem out, but not much longer.
I tried the URL's and some worked for a listing or two and then back to error page. This is really frustrating! Any resolve yet??

I am not new to Auctiva but I am new to this board. I have tried each and every one of the address' as well with no luck at all. I have been sitting at my computer since the early morning here in Michigan and it is now time for me to break for lunch. I surely hope that this problem is corrected very soon. After the inintial one listing I'm back to the Run Time Error notice! I think we should all stop advertising Auctiva for free if the site sucks. Are we not spreading the problem by having other new users see our slick looking listings and misleading them into thinking all is well? Then a they sign-up and find them selves in Listing HELL! Mad
I got in using one of those IP addresses, HOWEVER, I STILL get runtime errors when trying to upload 1 darn picture! Amazing, not ONE person from Auctiva is bothering to respond on these boards about the mess that's going on and WHEN they are going to get their act together and FINALLY get it straightened out. I guess it's true - you really do get what you (DON'T) pay for.

Wiz, I saw the same thing - just a flash of a weird graphic head. I thought it was very strange.


What you're seeing is most likely gardenboy's "avatar" -- the image under his name on his posts. It's pretty big and has to resize quickly when it loads..
