Hi!I am listing several pieces of glassware that has advertising logos on them. When I select glassware>40s 50s 60s>etc, I can choose the custom item specifics, but if I choose a 2nd category (collectibles>advertising>etc.), there are no specifics. I do understand that that's just the way ebay has it set up. I could swap them around and have the main category the collectibles one, but then i wouldn't have the specifics for the glassware category.

sooooo.....Which category is better if I have to choose one? I know that the search will look at the item specifics too, and that's why (in a perfect world) I had hope to be able to enter them for both categories. If not, then why bother with the 2nd category at all? Does it matter much?
So if there's any glassies or collectors out there, any advice would be appreciated!

I don't think it matters too much...most ppl I know (myself included) search by keywords, not category. What I have done in the past is put some in one category and some in the other. That way when a user clicks on either one, they can check your other items for sale too. Have your Auctiva scroll bar set at the top of your listing. I have found that using 2 categories is usually a waste of money. JMHO Smile
