Thanks for letting us know about this. It's difficult to tell what exactly is causing your image upload attempts to fail without knowing the specifics of the images - it could have something to do with the size or format of the images though. If you are using the HTML Uploader, which is also the uploader used on the listing creation page, you will want to make sure your images are in JPG or GIF format and have dimensions of less than 1024 x 768 DPI.
There is a known reliability issue with the HTML uploader so, if the images you are attempting to upload meet those recommendations, I suspect you are being affected by that problem. Most users are able to use the HTML uploader successfully, but there are still more failures than we would like to see.
Our engineering team is currently working on fixing this issue, however, it will require some significant restructuring of how the uploading process works. Some substantial improvements should be realized with our site update at the end of October and some additional improvements to the system will follow.
In the interim, if you are having trouble using the HTML uploader, I recommend using the Auctiva Uploader instead. You can access the Auctiva Uploader by clicking the "Upload Images" link under the "Images" tab within your account and then click the "Auctiva Uploader" link on the ensuing page.
