AliExpress recently added a "Top-Rated Products" search filter that makes identifying high-quality products from trustworthy suppliers very convenient.

If you do have a problem with a purchase, contact the supplier. If they don't make it right, you can easily file a dispute with AliExpress. Because the site has an escrow feature, the supplier won't receive his/her money until you indicate you are satisfied with your purchase and/or any disputes are settled. One caveat to remember is that funds will be released if you don't file a dispute soon after the item is received.
