Reply to ""6 Things to Know About AliExpress""

based on the established history in my own personal experiences with Alibaba, and the other seller /buyer who has had five independent exchanges, all of which were challenging and insecure, I would say that this was a very very bad move for Auctiva.
I don't know what "Sourcing" is for example, or how it is supposed to work. Not because I haven't looked, but because I don't have a day to waste searching and cyphering through the very user-not-friendly site of hype and sales pitches.
Even on Auctiva you have to sign up for a membership of some level to be told the straight of most necessities.
On Alibaba it's worse.
I had to establish an account to ask a question of a dealer. I have an item that it was almost impossible to find information on.
A seller on alibaba had a sample of it.
I signed up, sent my question.
received a stilted "I have no idea what you mean" translated reply, and there after was bombarded with SPAM from Alibaba.
I was even sent email from some one claiming to be my persoanl rep but who only wanted me to buy or sell GOLG+D.
yeah... and I never made any mention that I was buying or looking to buy anything at all.
I have blocked all email from alibab and the person by name because there were NO REPLIES to any responses to the email address provided by the CSR supposedly assigned to "my account".
Already they are in bad standing.
It's Chinese and culturally does NOT translate into service minded relations.
Socialism and sociable are not the same.
