Reply to ""A Few Things You Can’t Sell on eBay""

One of the things that irks me with eBay is their inconsistent policies which penalises sellers.

I am on eBay.co.uk and sell a wide range of Dvds, but there is one in particular that I cannot sell - ' I Spit On Your Grave'.

The title is available in many UK high street shops, but anyone who tries to sell this on the UK eBay site has the listing removed by eBay and receives a warning that it breaches eBay guidelines AND a warning that if it is relisted the seller risks being suspended.

But here is the crazy part - if a prospective buyer in the UK is looking for this title and does a search they will find no UK sellers offering this, but they do find a list of INTERNATIONAL sellers who are offering the title. This means that a buyer based in the UK is allowed to buy the title from an International seller (and pay the higher shipping costs for the priviledge), but they are denied the opportunity of buying the same title from a UK based seller.

Can anyone tell me the point of this crazy, conflicting policy? No wonder that some of eBays rules and regulations are confusing when things like this happen!
